This website has been created to provide information, advice and
documentation for Line Managers working within organisations that
do not have professional Human Resource support. It is also particularly
appropriate for multi-site operations that operate independently
when dealing with day to day personnel issues.
Whatever the organisation and resource we believe that it is an
essential tool for all managers who have a responsibility for that
most important business resource - people!
The information sections, policies and procedures have been written
in a practical and straightforward way, explaining how employment
legislation translates in practice. A strict interpretation of law
may be required when dealing with Employment Tribunal or other claims
by employees and users are therefore advised to seek legal opinion
before responding to these.
We are constantly adding to and improving our service and always
welcome comment and suggestions from our users.

| An employee whom leaves without notice or who is sacked for Gross Misconduct is not entitled to accrued holiday pay. WRONG!
Regardless of the reason for leaving all employees are entitled to be paid for outstanding holiday pay - at least to Statutory legislation. |
